High Altitude Training
This exercise program takes place in a Hypoxic environment (oxygen reduced air) to improve physical wellness and athletic performance.
Working out at high altitude enhances the efficiency of the body’s respiratory, cardiovascular and oxygen utilization systems. This leads to numerous physiological benefits including, increase of red blood cells which improves nutrients and oxygen levels in the blood, more capillaries to deliver the blood to the brain, tissues and muscles, and an increase in Human Growth hormone and Energy production which causes an increase in muscle mass and fat burning metabolism.
The hypoxic environment allows us to take a minimal dose approach to training. The training stimulus is enhanced by the environment , allowing us to decrease the training intensity and volume. Do less achieve more!
